This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Leading, mentoring, and nurturing Regional Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Lead Generation Specialists.
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans aimed at achieving growth, profitability, and customer retention objectives.
• Assisting sales team members in prospecting, building relationships, generating leads, and closing new business opportunities.
• Tracking sales performance, pipeline activity, market trends, and CRM data to forecast growth and pinpoint opportunities.
• Compiling and delivering sales activity reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Engaging in customer presentations and business reviews, discussing programs, services, profitability, and potential growth opportunities.
• Overseeing key customer accounts and acting as a trusted business partner to clients.
• Collaborating with the Marketing team to create lead generation campaigns and sales initiatives.
• Working closely with Business Analytics, Logistics, Strategic Pharmacy Initiatives, and other internal teams to identify new markets, improve reporting, and enhance customer value.
• Offering marketplace feedback to facilitate innovation, service improvements, and future growth prospects.
• Advocating for company programs that promote customer success and boost generic pharmaceutical sales.
• Associate degree or a comparable combination of education and extensive sales experience.
• Strong comprehension of retail pharmacy operations and the independent pharmacy sector.
• Familiarity with PSAOs, contracting, purchasing, profitability analysis, and business development strategies.
• Proven experience in prospecting, lead generation, customer retention, and closing sales.
• Strong business insight and capability to discuss financial performance and profitability with clients.
• Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including frequent overnight trips across multi-state regions.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sales, healthcare distribution, or related healthcare industries.
• Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and driving sustained revenue growth.
