This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +7 more states.
• Develop and expand the customer portfolio.
• Promote and sell EXOR product families and IIOT solutions.
• Conduct market research and enhance business intelligence.
• Establish and nurture strong business relationships.
• Identify leads and opportunities within new and existing accounts.
• Manage internal data systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics).
• Identify solutions and create technical/commercial proposals in collaboration with the US HQ Team.
• Negotiate and finalize commercial contracts.
• Oversee account management and customer relationship management.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and manage information flow to HQ.
• Assist with After Sales client communication and support.
• Contribute to the development of a high-performance distribution network.
• Regularly interact and report to HQ regarding goals, objectives, and metrics.
• Provide informal and formal updates to senior management and team members.
• Demonstrate a continuous willingness to learn about industry trends and EXOR’s products and services.
• Occasionally communicate with the Italian HQ (in English; inter-cultural sensitivity is a plus).
• Exhibit entrepreneurial thinking and a high degree of autonomy.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
• Perform all other tasks as required by the job.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Ideally possess strong commercial and financial knowledge (MBA is a plus).
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a technical sales role or application engineering.
• Familiarity with automated systems and robotics (PLC, HMI, systems engineering, etc.).
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills; a good listener and communicator.
• Ability to thrive in a high-performance environment.
• Comfort with public speaking and good presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, predominantly domestic (95%) and some international (5%).
• Proficient in business software and IT skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (work authorization required).
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Italian is a plus (not required).
