Technical Sales Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Facilitate engagements with C-level executives and senior technical stakeholders, conveying intricate data center concepts (such as power, cooling, resiliency, scalability, and sustainability) in straightforward business and financial language.

• Design tailored, comprehensive data center solutions that incorporate infrastructure design, deployment strategies, operational models, and lifecycle planning to meet each client's specific needs.

• Formulate multi-year data center strategies that align with growth forecasts, capacity planning, risk mitigation, and the evolution of technology platforms.

• Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and operations teams to recommend effective solutions.

• Convert customer business motivations into technical specifications and implementation plans, ensuring alignment among stakeholders.

• Explore existing accounts to identify new buyers, departments, and business opportunities.

• Present value propositions and business cases that clearly illustrate ROI, performance enhancements, and risk reduction for executive audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in data center-related sales, engineering, or services.

• Established relationships with data center operators or owners.

• Proven track record of selling complex technical solutions to C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.

• Strong expertise in data center infrastructure, program design, and large-scale technical delivery.

• Demonstrated capability in developing custom solutions and strategic roadmaps as opposed to providing off-the-shelf implementations.

• Ability to connect technical depth with executive communication, influencing results across both business and engineering audiences.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (10+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
