This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Contribute to the development of proposals and Statements of Work.
• Assist in the delivery of implementation and consulting services to fulfill Veeam Software solution designs and deliverables.
• Offer overall project direction, including project plans, schedules, communication plans, resource allocations, and status updates.
• Support the assessment and design of solutions, as well as address post-installation challenges.
• Aid in estimating the effort required for Veeam Software solution implementations.
• Produce white papers, solution guides, best practices, and custom documentation.
• Provide onsite knowledge transfer regarding Veeam Software solutions.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and completed activities.
• Analyze installed environments and recommend optimal configurations for Veeam Software.
• Facilitate communication between clients and Veeam support.
• Identify additional requirements within the client’s environment that can be addressed with Veeam Software solutions.
• Contribute to process and documentation improvement efforts.
• Travel for overnight business stays to achieve company objectives.
• VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent experience is required.
• Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or similar qualifications are necessary.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in technology is required (a combination of education and experience may be considered).
• Practical experience with Veeam’s core products is essential.
• Demonstrated consulting and project management experience is required.
• Extensive experience and understanding of virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with disruptive storage systems and technologies (e.g., Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, Veeam).
• Practical experience with networking protocols and equipment (Fibre Channel, Ethernet, Cloud services).
• Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures (e.g., EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, Dell).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise applications (e.g., Exchange, SQL, Oracle).
• Experience in data management, data protection, and data analytics.
• Extensive experience with data center operations, business continuity, and operating systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and accounts simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies, capabilities, and protocols.
• Business proficiency in both Italian and English.
