This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop, implement, and sustain comprehensive project plans that encompass timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and strategies for mitigating risks.
• Define the project scope and objectives, ensuring they are in harmony with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead project kickoffs, conduct regular status meetings, perform post-project reviews, and ensure the prompt execution of action items.
• Monitor project progress and deliverables using established project management tools and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with the President on strategic planning for our cloud expansion initiatives and select on-premise innovation projects, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans with defined ownership and timelines, aiding in timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Monitor execution against strategic milestones, rather than just project tasks, identifying areas where performance may be lagging and driving corrective measures.
• Contribute to the commercial and business planning perspective of key initiatives, working alongside Product, Engineering, and Sales to align technical delivery with business outcomes.
• Establish and oversee project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting variances.
• Ensure all project expenditures are consistent with approved budgets and adhere to company financial policies.
• Provide quarterly budget summaries and variance analyses for leadership review.
• Identify and implement opportunities for improved financial performance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications across departments.
• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership evaluation.
• Facilitate quarterly strategic reviews, offering updates on project status, key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
• Actively engage with customers and prospects to gather feedback on offerings and stimulate demand.
• Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation and contingency plans accordingly.
• Escalate critical issues in a timely manner and facilitate resolution with the relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to the enhancement of project management processes, tools, and best practices.
• Analyze project outcomes to glean lessons learned and identify opportunities for future enhancement.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in managing cloud, software product development, or technical projects is preferred.
• Experience in a cross-functional team environment with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.
• Previous experience in healthcare foodservice operations or bedside nutrition management is a plus.
