
Technical Project Manager – Parcel Conveyor Controls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of conveyor control systems for key parcel and logistics clients.
• Act as the main point of accountability for project schedules, budgets, and technical performance.
• Establish project execution plans, milestones, and deliverables for conveyor control systems.
• Create and manage project timelines from design phase through commissioning and customer approval.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and change control measures to ensure projects meet financial objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison for customer project teams, consultants, and third-party vendors.
• Identify and address project risks related to technical aspects, schedules, or finances.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 7 years of experience in managing controls or automation projects, preferably within material handling, parcel, or distribution settings.
• Strong technical expertise in PLCs, HMIs, I/O networks (EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, Safety), drives, and motion systems.
• Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary project teams and collaborating with external partners.
• Proficient in project scheduling and management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
• Excellent organizational, financial, and communication skills.
• PMP or a similar certification is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for project site visits, FAT/SAT, and client meetings.
