This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee the planning, implementation, and delivery of conveyor control systems for significant parcel and logistics clients.
• Act as the main point of responsibility for project schedule, budget, and technical performance.
• Establish project execution strategies, milestones, and deliverables for conveyor control systems.
• Create and oversee project timelines from the design phase through to commissioning and customer approval.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and change management to ensure projects adhere to financial objectives.
• Serve as the key liaison for customer project teams, consultants, and external vendors.
• Recognize and address project risks (technical, scheduling, or financial).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• More than 7 years of experience in managing controls or automation projects (ideally in material handling, parcel, or distribution settings).
• Robust technical knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, I/O networks (EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, Safety), drives, and motion control systems.
• Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary project teams and collaborating with external partners.
• Expertise in project scheduling and management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
• Excellent organizational, financial, and communication abilities.
• PMP or a similar certification is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for project site visits, FAT/SAT, and client meetings.
