Technical Project Manager, New Energy Large-Scale Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overall technical responsibility from the initial site assessment to successful grid integration for complex EPC projects in Commercial New Energy (including rooftop photovoltaic systems, battery storage solutions, charging infrastructure, and energy management).

• Supervision of on-site construction along with the technical coordination and management of subcontractors.

• Ensuring adherence to technical and safety standards, along with the acceptance and sign-off of completed work.

• Collaborating with our planning and engineering teams to develop technical concepts and support their implementation (e.g., roof layouts, string planning, low voltage main distribution, transformers, medium voltage substations).

• Result-oriented stakeholder management with clients, grid operators, and authorities to ensure successful project execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in the technical execution of EPC projects within the Commercial & Industrial sector, with a solid understanding of rooftop PV systems.

• Proficient in handling execution, string, and circuit diagrams (AC/DC) and reviewing them for technical accuracy.

• Capability to identify installation and execution errors on-site, to raise precise technical claims, and to consistently enforce defect remediation.

• Sound judgment in technical matters and a confident approach when interacting with trades and grid operators.

• Residence in or near Berlin; willingness to travel within the Central/North/East region.

• Business-fluent German (C-level) and proficient English skills.

• Resilience, excellent communication skills, and a methodical approach to work.
