Technical Project Manager – DevSecOps, Cloud Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee strategic projects focused on DevOps, DevSecOps, automation, cloud, and modernization of technology.

• Organize and supervise the implementation and ongoing development of continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

• Coordinate initiatives for cloud adoption, Infrastructure as Code, and modernization of development platforms.

• Advocate for the inclusion of security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Manage activities among development, architecture, cloud, infrastructure, security, operations, and business teams.

• Establish and oversee project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, milestones, and criteria for success.

• Identify, document, assess, and monitor risks, impediments, issues, and dependencies.

• Conduct governance forums and keep stakeholders and leadership updated on status, decisions, risks, and results.

• Define, track, and present metrics on delivery, efficiency, quality, security, and predictability.

• Ensure alignment of business objectives with security needs and technology priorities.

• Assist in Security by Design initiatives, security automation, vulnerability management, and secure software delivery.

• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, technology controls, governance, risk management, and security requirements.

• Facilitate decision-making, resolve impediments, and escalate critical issues as necessary.

• Support coordination with vendors, partners, and distributed teams when applicable.

• Encourage ongoing enhancement of development lifecycle processes, tools, and practices.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, automation, security, and shared responsibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficient in English (C2) with the capability to communicate effectively in an international setting.

• Proven experience leading DevOps and DevSecOps projects or programs within corporate environments.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and contemporary software delivery methodologies.

• Experience in implementing, evolving, or overseeing CI/CD pipelines.

• Background in automation, cloud adoption, cloud transformation, and technology modernization.

• Familiarity with Secure SDLC, Security by Design, Application Security, Security Automation, and Vulnerability Management.

• Knowledge of tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.

• Understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation.

• Knowledge of SAST, DAST, vulnerability management, and application security practices.

• Proven track record in coordinating cross-functional teams in development, DevOps, architecture, cloud, security, infrastructure, and operations.

• Experience managing project scope, budget, schedule, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Familiarity with project governance, executive communication, and delivery metrics tracking.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe.

• Ability to convert business objectives and security requirements into clear, actionable delivery plans.

• Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, autonomy, and adeptness at managing multiple stakeholders in global scenarios.

• PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist, or PMI-ACP certifications are advantageous.

• Certifications pertaining to AWS, Azure, DevOps, cloud technologies, Kubernetes, or information security are a plus.
