This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Collaborate with product management and cross-functional software engineering teams to create value for stakeholders.
• Plan and manage multiple technology projects in alignment with overarching timelines.
• Assist in the management of dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with PMO governance standards.
• Lead and oversee projects at an executive level.
• Create comprehensive project plans addressing scope, schedule, budget, and resource distribution.
• Direct cross-functional project teams, including engineers, QA, and other technical personnel.
• Engage with management, project sponsors, clients, and various stakeholders.
• Take part in or facilitate backlog refinement, planning, and other essential ceremonies.
• Utilize Agile expertise to enhance team efficiency, visibility, and collaboration.
• Identify and address project risks, formulate contingency strategies, and manage expectations of stakeholders.
• Monitor and assist in resolving issues as they arise.
• Maintain project documentation and deliver regular status updates.
• Ensure projects are finalized on schedule, within budget, and meet stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with teams across different departments and geographic locations, as well as external partners and clients.
• Continuously enhance project management processes and methodologies.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 11–15 years of experience, including over 7 years in managing technology projects of increasing complexity.
• Strong grasp of project management methodologies and best practices, such as Waterfall, Agile, and SAFe.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with a talent for working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and function independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum, and the ability to mentor and enhance teams in agile practices.
• Proficiency in project management tools like Jira and Airtable.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams, including software engineers and quality analysts.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of the Life Insurance and Annuity Industry — Preferred.
• Certifications in Scrum, SAFe, PMP, or other project management frameworks — Preferred.
