Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain multiple project schedules, addressing issues, risks, dependencies, status, and communications to key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Utilize knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles to ensure that Scrum Team deliverables are achieved on schedule and within budget.

• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies, including Daily Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning Meetings, End of Sprint Demos, Sprint Retrospectives, and PI Planning sessions, while documenting meeting minutes and action items.

• Collaborate with two or more Agile teams simultaneously with minimal supervision from leadership.

• Ensure that Agile tools are up-to-date and accurately reflect the status of each user story and task.

• Navigate the organization to eliminate obstacles on behalf of the team.

• Produce various project reports (e.g., project status, team utilization report, burndown charts).

• Exhibit strong leadership and effective decision-making, embracing innovative approaches to achieve desired outcomes while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

• Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging at the executive level.

• Coach and mentor the reporting team on processes, empowering members to acquire new skills and enhance productivity. Conduct mid-year and yearly performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and be available for queries or additional training.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management, Business, or a related field is essential.

• A minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in an Agile project management role, preferably in the data management domain.

• Experience in a customer-facing role similar to that of a professional services consultant or engineer.

• Proven experience in leading projects throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and customer requirements to commercial product launch.

• Demonstrated experience in matrix management and coordination of a large multifunctional team, including Marketing, Engineering, Testing, Documentation, Customer Support, and Training members, both onshore and offshore.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Productivity tools, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Agile Project Management Tools like Jira or preferably Rally.
