Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for the planning and execution of construction, renovation, and optimization projects within a laboratory setting, significantly contributing to the advancement and sustainability of our facilities.

• Oversee complex construction and transformation initiatives for both laboratory and administrative locations.

• Develop and execute technical optimization projects, prioritizing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

• Analyze and create space and utilization concepts (layouts, densification, functionality).

• Plan and implement technical solutions in HVAC and building services (TGA), ensuring adherence to the unique requirements of laboratory environments.

• Establish and implement modern, future-ready laboratory and building infrastructures.

• Ensure adherence to cost, schedule, and quality targets throughout all phases of the projects.

• Coordinate both internal and external project participants while actively managing stakeholder relationships.

• Provide support during commissioning, relocations, and site-specific transformation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in civil engineering, building services/utility engineering, or a related field is required.

• Several years of experience in construction and project management, preferably in laboratory, healthcare, or industrial settings.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC and technical building equipment (TGA/building services).

• Proven experience in implementing optimization projects (e.g., space planning, layouts, processes).

• Ability to comprehend complex technical, structural, and operational relationships.

• Excellent skills in interface and stakeholder management.

• A methodical, analytical approach to work and strong execution capabilities.

• Willingness to travel nationwide for projects, with a preferred presence at the Augsburg site 1–2 days weekly.
