This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Oversee migration projects
• Establish the technical parameters of the project in collaboration with the accounting firm (source software, data volume, business-specific needs).
• Governance: Facilitate coordination among internal stakeholders (PSS, AE, PRM, Partners) and external parties (accountants, the firm’s IT team, ambassadors).
• Deadline management: Ensure the data cutover is finalized within the designated 5-day timeframe.
• Hypercare: Assist the client post-migration to guarantee smooth adoption.
• Quality audit: Detect and rectify data inconsistencies upstream to reduce production failures.
• Technical point of contact (within Pennylane): Address the technical requirements of accounting firms (SSO setup, API utilization, etc.).
• Innovation (within Pennylane): Create tools, scripts (Python/SQL), or documentation to automate repetitive tasks for the team.
• Scope management: Maintain project limits and suggest alternatives for complex scenarios.
• Pedagogy: Convert technical issues into understandable language for accounting professionals.
• Continuous improvement (within Pennylane): Communicate field feedback to product teams to shape the technical roadmap.
• Project management: Strong methodology, prioritization, and crisis management abilities.
• Technical: Expertise in SQL, foundational knowledge of Python, and familiarity with APIs and SaaS architectures (essential for this role).
• Domain knowledge: Comprehension of accounting processes (FEC - accounting entries file, VAT, trial balances) to foresee the needs of accounting firms (preferable).
• Emotional intelligence: Capability to stay diplomatic and effective under pressure.
• Analytical mindset: An inherent problem-solver who investigates the root causes of issues.
• Cross-functional communication: Skill in aligning stakeholders with differing interests (Sales vs Operations).
