Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the technical project planning and management of all designated projects and initiatives from conception to implementation.

• Ensure alignment of projects with company objectives, priorities, and expectations.

• Oversee budgets, enforce timelines, supervise team members, and manage various aspects of service delivery, including design, analysis, training, testing, and solution setup.

• Schedule and manage risks and resources, establish standards, provide sequential status reports, and facilitate both internal and external communication to ensure customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Project Management within the software development sector.

• Proficiency in Agile methodology (Scrum).

• Background in DevOps.

• Proven understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methodologies.

• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing emerging talent in the technology department.

• Strong time management and organizational skills, with a history of establishing guidelines in these areas for others.

• High level of personal accountability in decision-making and supervising departmental teams.

• Experience in a collaborative environment that fosters a teamwork mentality.

• Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively mitigate obstacles.

• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with personnel from various departments of the company.

• Demonstrated expertise in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, and project management.

• Experience in business process mapping or operational redesign/improvement.

• Comprehensive understanding of best practices in the software development lifecycle.

• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical elements of project management.

• Willingness to travel 20% of the time.

• English proficiency: Advanced (80% - 90%).
