This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee highly effective teams made up of SharePoint Consultants and SharePoint Developers throughout all stages of the delivery lifecycle.
• Coordinate team project meetings, eliminate obstacles, and communicate efficiently to enhance productivity and uphold a high level of team satisfaction.
• Conduct advance capacity planning to ensure all team members are fully engaged, preventing gaps in schedules or declines in productivity.
• Lead the formulation and execution of project plans, including milestone planning from project initiation to go-live, while addressing delays and implementing necessary corrective actions.
• Manage daily operational components of projects, encompassing deliverables, estimates, financials, and timelines, to guarantee projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain responsibility for client satisfaction, company profitability, and the workload of the project team.
• Ensure alignment with clients regarding project scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Conduct impact analysis for scope change requests, documenting modifications, and preparing change orders for client approval.
• Communicate realistic timelines and manage expectations as changes or delays arise.
• Leverage expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to effectively adapt and enforce the company’s distinctive delivery process.
• Track project progress and evaluate risks, implementing mitigation strategies as required to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintain high-quality standards for all deliverables, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations.
• Ensure team members accurately log their time weekly to maximize billable hours and utilization rates.
• Review invoices for correctness prior to sending to clients and coordinate any necessary adjustments with Finance.
• Provide clear and consistent updates to stakeholders regarding project status, risks, milestones, and scope changes.
• Establish and refine project management methodologies, ensuring consistency across all projects.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology, Project Management, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Over 5 years of experience in IT project management, particularly in a consulting role.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
• A client-centered approach focused on building enduring relationships.
• Proven capability to manage and prioritize multiple high-impact projects simultaneously in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Demonstrated success in managing technical implementation or enhancement projects.
• Extensive experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and client stakeholders, in a consulting or dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Jira, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to deliver projects punctually, within budget, and in scope, utilizing project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) as suitable.
• Confidence in identifying potential risks and creating mitigation strategies.
• Strong capacity to communicate project status and manage expectations with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in managing change requests and ensuring seamless transitions during project updates.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, and team leadership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting ideas, reports, and updates.
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to efficiently resolve complex technical, process, and project-related challenges.
• Preferred experience with enterprise collaboration platforms like SharePoint or other related Microsoft technologies.
