Senior Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of telecommunications software and platform implementation projects.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project-related communications.

• Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations.

• Convert customer requirements, high-level designs, and integration specifications into actionable delivery plans.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Professional Services, architecture, DevOps, and delivery teams.

• Deliver clear and professional status updates to both customer-side and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure timely delivery within scope and in accordance with agreed expectations.

• Contribute to project success in a challenging telecommunications and infrastructure landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing intricate technical projects in the telecommunications sector.

• Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience collaborating with distributed, cross-functional teams in areas such as Engineering, Product Management, Professional Services, architecture, DevOps, and delivery.

• Capability to transform customer requirements, high-level designs, integration specifications, and technical dependencies into clear project plans.

• Strong skills in risk and issue management.

• Knowledge of technologies like VMware or similar virtualization platforms, Red Hat OpenStack, OpenShift, Wind River platforms, and telco cloud.

• Proficient in both German and English, in written and spoken forms.
