• Oversee the complete delivery process of technical projects, which encompasses planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Establish project scope, objectives, milestones, success metrics, and deliverables.
• Create and sustain comprehensive project plans, schedules, dependencies, and risk registers.
• Innovate new designs and provide technical solutions for user stories.
• Lead the team in the capacity of a technical architect.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert technical consultant for a public sector financial services loan application initiative.
• Evaluate technical requirements and code produced by developers during the migration from COBOL to Oracle.
• Construct a new loan application program utilizing Oracle PL/SQL and ColdFusion.
• Introduce new functionalities.
• Supervise the technical team.
• Guide team members in identifying and resolving complex issues, offering oversight and subject matter expertise.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• An additional four (4) years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience in project management.
• At least ten (10) years of IT experience.
• In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical delivery environments.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and distributed teams.
• Over eight (8) years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and ColdFusion development.
• Proficient in Oracle 11g/12c/19c in Unix/Linux.
• Extensive experience with PL/SQL (stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers).
• Demonstrated skill in writing advanced business logic using PL/SQL.
• Advanced proficiency in query refactoring and tuning techniques.
• Strong grasp of Oracle database architecture.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and ColdFusion.
• Familiarity with GitHub and Agile methodologies.
