Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of projects to align with business requirements while adhering to agreed-upon costs, timelines, and quality standards.

• Collaborate with the Business Manager on business justification, defining project scopes, and executing business implementations.

• Create comprehensive project plans that encompass scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and risk management.

• Direct project teams and evaluate deliverables to ensure alignment with project goals.

• Engage in functional working groups and attend progress meetings to monitor project advancement.

• Assess costs, timelines, and resource needs for effective project management.

• Develop and uphold project and quality plans while tracking progress and activities.

• Deliver regular and precise project status updates and progress reports.

• Supervise costs, timelines, and resource utilization, implementing corrective measures when necessary.

• Manage project change control processes and secure sponsor approvals.

• Inspire and lead the project team, fostering team development.

• Communicate with stakeholders through structured communication plans, stakeholder mapping, and consistent status updates.

• Evaluate the technical impact and feasibility of implementations, features, and requests.

• Present products, features, and implementations to clients and stakeholders effectively.

• Generate project management plans, roadmaps, schedules, work breakdown structures, dashboards, KPI reports, and risk and issue trackers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing projects successfully.

• Understanding of established project management methodologies, including PRINCE2, PMBOK, and Agile frameworks.

• Proficient in project scheduling, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance evaluation.

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum Management, and Lean principles.

• Familiarity with JIRA and Microsoft Project for project tracking.

• Experience using Confluence and SharePoint for documentation and collaboration.

• Skilled in facilitating meetings effectively.

• Practical experience with various reporting methods.

• Knowledge of software development processes, including backend and frontend languages and technologies such as Java, JavaScript, and Angular is advantageous.

• Understanding of different architectural patterns.

• Familiarity with CSDR, AXON Server, KAFKA, and cloud technologies.

• EU citizenship is required.
