This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Lead and oversee software development initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results while effectively coordinating with the development team in Vietnam during overlapping working hours.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across various time zones, including product managers, designers, DevOps, and business stakeholders, to outline project scope and objectives.
• Comprehend the client’s business and technical needs, assisting in translating these into technical architecture, solutions, and user stories for the Vietnam development team.
• Serve as a bridge between technical teams and clients, converting business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
• Track project progress, identify obstacles, and implement solutions to sustain project momentum.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies for effective project execution.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, testing, and quality assurance.
• Monitor and communicate key project metrics to stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of communication, transparency, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Occasionally engage in technical architecture, design, and hands-on coding to initiate new projects, followed by building and scaling a team for implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 3 years of experience in project management, particularly within a software development context.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello, etc.).
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles.
• Knowledge of best practices in the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external teams in English.
