Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate, cross-functional technical initiatives that provide automation solutions for customer distribution and warehouse settings.

• Facilitate the execution process from initial concept to deployment, collaborating with engineering, product management, operations, supply chain, finance, and customer implementation teams.

• Establish the program's scope, priorities, timelines, risks, and success metrics in partnership with technical and business stakeholders.

• Convert customer and market needs into comprehensive program plans utilizing the current platform while fostering the development of new capabilities and technologies.

• Act as a technical partner in customer interactions and coordinate internal teams to fulfill customer commitments.

• Create program governance, oversee execution, identify risks, and lead issue resolution efforts.

• Gather insights from implementation experiences and leverage data-driven analysis to enhance engineering processes, product quality, and deployment efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering field is required.

• A Master's degree or other advanced engineering qualifications are highly preferred.

• A minimum of 8 years of technical experience in managing large, complex engineering or automation initiatives.

• Proven experience in delivering automation, robotics, warehouse, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or intricate hardware/software systems.

• Demonstrated experience in leading significant cross-functional programs involving engineering, operations, product management, supply chain, and customer-facing teams.

• Strong experience in customer-facing roles.

• Proficient in communicating effectively with technical teams, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.

• Exceptional program planning, risk management, and organizational capabilities.

• A history of successfully driving programs to completion.

• Familiarity with industrial automation, control systems, or PLC-based solutions is advantageous, though not mandatory.
