Senior Engineering Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main engineering representative during initial intake and cross-functional triage meetings.

• Facilitate the movement of customer requests and quick wins through product and solutions pipelines.

• Manage the end-to-end routing of urgent requests and convert leadership decisions into actionable engineering items.

• Connect high-level EPD planning boards with team-specific engineering Jira boards.

• Monitor dependencies with operations and product pods, ensuring clear requirements from the outset.

• Oversee initiatives to completion while empowering development teams.

• Guide the architectural shift away from the monolithic structure.

• Guarantee unified and consistent responses across BUILDER and OPERATOR interfaces.

• Organize internal engineering audits, including service resiliency questionnaires.

• Identify single points of failure and proactively alert leadership to potential business risks.

• Construct, sustain, and scale engineering visibility dashboards for executive insights into product health and team performance.

• Navigate complexities across 15+ product pods, clarify ownership boundaries, and align intricate service rollouts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of software architecture concepts, including monolith versus microservices, API versioning, and data flows.

• Capability to confidently engage in discussions about technical requirements with IC3s, Architects, and Engineering Managers.

• Proven experience in transforming leadership vision or high-level meeting notes into structured, trackable project plans.

• Strong familiarity with mapping workflows from high-level planning boards to detailed engineering Jira boards.

• Ability to bridge gaps across product pods, clarify ambiguous ownership boundaries, and drive alignment without formal authority.

• Skill in anticipating intake-funnel bottlenecks and addressing them proactively.
