Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of technical partner deployments, scaling spatial AI implementations from initial pilots to hundreds of retail locations.

• Oversee the complete deployment logistics, including hardware, firmware, software deliverables, and on-site setup.

• Create and maintain a comprehensive technical plan for each program, detailing CV, hardware, software milestones, status, and dependencies.

• Decompose intricate rollouts into actionable, metric-tracked steps with defined cadence, responsible owners, and current status.

• Evaluate shipment quality, focusing on detection performance and data integrity, alongside the speed of deployment.

• Standardize effective processes into repeatable rollout templates.

• Engage in architecture and design trade-off discussions across computer vision, front-end, and back-end systems.

• Recognize solutions that are either over-engineered or insufficiently considered.

• Adjust to operational shortcomings across engineering, product, operations, and customer success.

• Facilitate physical hardware/firmware transfers, on-site logistics, and store-level execution with retail partners.

• Clarify technical discussions, trade-offs, and risks for non-technical clients using clear and precise language.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience managing technical programs, software-hardware deployments, or complex rollouts.

• Experience with metrics-driven program cadences, such as conducting weekly business reviews and clear tracking, is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of system design principles across front-end, back-end, cloud, and computer vision concepts.

• Capability to assess architectural trade-offs without the necessity of coding.

• Demonstrated ability to transform ambiguous problems into structured, step-by-step technical plans.

• Proficient in coordinating physical hardware/firmware hand-offs, on-site logistics, and store-level execution with retail partners.

• Exceptional ability to convey technical discussions in a straightforward manner for non-technical clients while maintaining accuracy.

• Solid understanding of system architecture encompassing front-end, back-end, and computer vision systems.
