This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the cross-vertical operational cadence for Chemical Simulation, which includes weekly stand-up meetings, monthly business reviews, and quarterly reporting cycles, guaranteeing timely, audit-ready submissions to government stakeholders.
• Manage the unified source of truth for milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions across the seven Programmatic Areas; identify variances early and drive corrective actions with the GM and Vertical Leads.
• Act as the primary operational liaison to government counterparts, converting technical progress into compliance-standard narratives, deliverables, and quarterly updates.
• Facilitate cross-functional execution among Vertical Leads, Platform Engineering, Product, BD, Recruiting, Finance, and Legal/Compliance to remove obstacles and safeguard program timelines.
• Create and implement the program management toolkit for Chemical Simulation, which includes dashboards, decision logs, resource models, and reporting templates that can be scaled across verticals and withstand leadership transitions.
• 8+ years of experience managing complex, multi-workstream technical programs within regulated, high-stakes settings (federal contracts, defense, large enterprise R&D, or similar).
• Proven expertise operating in accordance with U.S. Government program requirements, including an understanding of milestone reporting, compliance documentation, and contracting processes.
• Strong technical proficiency in AI, scientific computing, or materials/chemistry programs adequate to credibly challenge schedules, scope, and dependencies with senior scientists and engineers.
• Outstanding executive-level communication skills; capable of translating technical details for non-technical government and executive audiences and facilitating trade-off discussions when scope, time, or budget are at risk.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, computer science, physical sciences, or a related field); advanced degree is preferred.
