Technical Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Investigate performance trends related to engine health (gas path, vibration, oil, fuel) and link them to product behavior.

• Conduct hands-on data exploration independently, utilizing SQL, available APIs, and structured datasets, while testing hypotheses before seeking engineering support.

• Rapidly prototype using AI tools (such as Cursor, ChatGPT, Lovable) to develop lightweight proofs-of-concept, simulate detection logic, and create internal analysis tools.

• Collaborate with engineering to refine implementation strategies, ensure alignment with architectural constraints, and clarify technical requirements.

• Enhance delivery efficiency by establishing clear analytics expectations early on, reducing the need for rework cycles later.

• A genuine curiosity about turbine engine behavior and a strong motivation to learn in a complex field.

• Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools (like Cursor, ChatGPT, Lovable) for quick prototyping and idea exploration.

• Strong SQL skills and comfort with hands-on exploration of structured datasets.

• Experience working closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements.

• Background in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, or a data-focused field.

• Familiarity with analytics, detection logic, or condition monitoring concepts.
