This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and implement the strategic vision for our telecommunications product portfolio, ensuring it aligns with company goals and revenue objectives.
• Oversee the advancement of our voice services platform, focusing on capacity planning, coverage enhancement, and competitive pricing strategies.
• Foster innovation in client numbering management solutions, emphasizing scalability, efficiency, and distinct market positioning.
• Lead the design and rollout of our Caller ID reputation management system.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to deliver comprehensive telecommunications solutions that exceed customer expectations.
• Keep abreast of regulatory shifts in the telecommunications sector, ensuring ongoing compliance and maintaining market leadership.
• Establish protocols to monitor call flow and call quality metrics to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
• Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success and inform strategic decisions.
• 5-10 years of product management experience, emphasizing telecommunications products.
• Over 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, ideally in Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platforms.
• Advanced or expert-level understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including:
• DID management systems and processes.
• Experience in carrier operations (sales or purchasing).
• Knowledge of call quality monitoring, metrics, and optimization.
• Familiarity with VoIP protocols and technologies (SIP, RTP, QoS, and encryption).
• Understanding of outbound call routing, SIP trunking, call flow design, call forwarding, voicemail, auto-attendant, etc.
• Knowledge of security measures for VoIP systems, such as encryption, authentication, and access control.
• Experience with number porting and provisioning.
• Knowledge of Caller ID reputation management.
• Comprehensive grasp of telecommunications regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record in driving product strategy and execution in dynamic technology environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a history of translating complex technical issues into practical solutions.
• Exceptional communication abilities and capacity to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a technical degree is preferred, and an MBA is a plus.
