Technical Product Manager – Salesforce CRM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Define and steer the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Salesforce CRM platform and its associated capabilities.

• Collaborate with commercial, sales, marketing, service, operations, data, architecture, security, and engineering teams to convert priorities into product results.

• Oversee Salesforce CRM as a key enterprise product, balancing business demands with technical viability, user experience, and scalability.

• Lead the discovery and prioritization process for CRM enhancements involving onboarding, account management, lead management, opportunity management, service workflows, case management, consent, and customer engagement.

• Convert business requirements into epics, features, user stories, and technical backlog items.

• Work alongside Salesforce architects, developers, administrators, integration teams, and QA partners on design and execution.

• Propel enhancements in Salesforce configuration, customization, integrations, data quality, workflow automation, reporting, and user adoption.

• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams on modernization efforts, release planning, environment strategy, and the reduction of technical debt.

• Ensure seamless integrations with marketing automation, data platforms, ERP, MDM, service tools, and analytics solutions.

• Utilize business metrics, platform usage insights, and customer feedback to inform roadmap decisions.

• Support Agile delivery methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, dependency management, release readiness, and stakeholder communications.

• Uphold governance, compliance, privacy, security, and data stewardship standards.

• Manage external vendors, implementation partners, and global delivery teams as necessary.

• Mentor team members and contribute to best practices in CRM product management and platform governance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience in product management, technical product management, CRM platform leadership, or enterprise applications.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or related ecosystem tools.

• Strong comprehension of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, integrations, workflow automation, security model, and release lifecycle.

• Proven track record of managing enterprise CRM products or large-scale Salesforce initiatives within complex organizations.

• Ability to translate business objectives into scalable CRM product solutions and technical delivery strategies.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in areas such as business, engineering, architecture, UX, data, compliance, and operations.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and execution capabilities.

• Familiarity with Agile product delivery methodologies and backlog management.

• Preferred: MBA or an advanced degree in a related field.

• Preferred: Salesforce certifications like Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or credentials related to Product Owner.

• Preferred: Experience in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries.

• Preferred: Familiarity with CRM-related domains such as customer onboarding, omnichannel engagement, consent management, service operations, or commercial excellence.

• Preferred: Knowledge of AI-enabled CRM capabilities, workflow intelligence, and automation use cases within Salesforce.

• Preferred: Experience managing vendors, offshore delivery teams, and global operating models.

• Desired: Experience with MDM Reltio and/or Databricks.
