• Take ownership of the product strategy for the Data Platform, establishing the vision, guiding principles, roadmap, and prioritization framework that align with both business and engineering objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Data Platform and engineering teams to ensure efficient, scalable, and consistent product delivery.
• Represent the voice of internal users by mapping comprehensive end-to-end journeys—from discoverability and onboarding to adoption, operations, and scaling—while identifying friction points and areas for enhancement.
• Lead product discovery and execution in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders across Data Platform Engineering, Security, Governance, and Analytics.
• Establish and track success metrics such as adoption rates, reliability, developer productivity, cost efficiency, time-to-first-value, and data quality to inform prioritization and decision-making processes.
• Work alongside engineering teams on technical trade-offs, sequencing, and solution design, ensuring a balance between scalability, usability, and delivery speed.
• Advocate for a product-centric mindset throughout platform teams, emphasizing usability, self-service, scalability, reliability, and security-by-default principles.
• Enhance platform adoption and enablement through comprehensive documentation, feedback loops, onboarding experiences, and training initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of a modern, scalable data ecosystem utilizing Databricks, AWS, and Python-based solutions.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management or a comparable role, with significant exposure to internal platforms, developer tools, infrastructure, or data platforms.
• A demonstrated history of driving user adoption and achieving measurable product outcomes within complex technical environments.
• A solid technical understanding of contemporary data architectures, workflows, and platform ecosystems.
• Experience with modern cloud-native data stacks, particularly AWS and Databricks (or similar lakehouse/data platform technologies).
• Ability to engage deeply with topics such as instrumentation, pipelines, monitoring, data quality, and downstream consumption, effectively translating technical complexities into clear product requirements.
• A strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with a background in defining KPIs, measuring outcomes, and fostering continuous improvement.
• Experience operating in cross-functional and ambiguous environments, with the capability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, able to convey technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services, IAM/security, networking concepts, observability, cost optimization, Databricks and lakehouse architectures, as well as Python and modern data workflows.
