This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate across strategic agentic music product surfaces, focusing on areas with the greatest potential for impactful learning.
• Transform ambiguous product opportunities into clear hypotheses, prototypes, specifications, evaluation plans, and executed experiments.
• Work alongside engineering teams to comprehend the foundational systems: prompts, tools, APIs, search functionalities, personalization, model behavior, latency, cost, and quality.
• Directly build or prototype when it is the quickest method to gain insights.
• Collaborate closely with design to ensure that agentic experiences seamlessly integrate into the creator workflow, rather than feeling added on.
• Conduct lightweight discovery sessions with creators: usability tests, dogfood loops, session evaluations, and direct feedback collection.
• Establish criteria for what “good” AI behavior entails: determining when the system should inquire, act, suggest, search, generate, or refrain from interference.
• Convert creator intent into actionable product and technical requirements for engineers, designers, researchers, and music-domain experts.
• Incorporate modern AI tools into your daily workflow to accelerate progress, enhance synthesis, and bring ideas to life more swiftly.
• Assist in developing the operational playbook for how Splice creates agentic music products.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in building and delivering products, whether as a PM, TPM, engineer, or product engineer. Your title is less important than your working style.
• Practical experience with agentic systems: you have refined prompts, developed evaluations, engaged with LLM APIs, or troubleshot agent behavior in production environments.
• A strong inclination towards quickly realizing concepts. You do not wait for a flawless specification to start gaining insights.
• Technical fluency: you can read code, grasp system architecture, and engage in meaningful discussions with engineers about trade-offs.
• Experience in product analytics, user research, or quality assessment for AI systems.
• Excellent written communication skills: you can distill complex observations into clear product guidance.
• A genuine appreciation for user experience: you care about how the product feels, not just its technical functionality.
• Competitive salary with annual reviews and equity options.
• Unlimited PTO to refresh and excel.
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents.
• 401(k) plan with immediate vesting and company matching.
• 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave for non-birthing parents, and 18-20 weeks for birthing parents.
• Options to work remotely or at our office hubs and creative spaces around the globe.
• Annual learning budget, leadership development programs, and team ambassador roles.
• Inclusive events, team gatherings, and active Employee Resource Groups.
