Technical Producer – Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of intricate technical projects throughout the APAC region.

• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, designers, contractors, and project teams to achieve top-notch technical results.

• Organize project meetings, set agendas, document minutes, track action items, and manage project plans, costs, and risks.

• Schedule vendors in line with project deadlines and adjust timelines as necessary.

• Monitor platform product releases and oversee deployment activities.

• Manage dependencies among teams involved in designing, delivering, and supporting products and projects.

• Direct the design and execution of experiential installations within client event and experience venues.

• Offer technical expertise in areas such as software tooling, cloud solutions, networking, security, privacy, compliance, hardware, software, and system commissioning.

• Supervise on-site installation and management of components provided by external vendors.

• Create, document, and realize technical design intent from initial concept through to handover.

• Identify, address, and escalate any gaps, conflicts, or misalignments on behalf of the client.

• Oversee budgets for equipment, content, and development throughout design, installation, handover, and project closure.

• Review written, visual, and technical deliverables, highlighting any technical, financial, schedule, and experiential risks.

• Establish approval and acceptance criteria and document stakeholder approvals.

• Manage vendor design and production timelines, integrating milestones into the overall project schedule.

• Facilitate the development of media, interactive content, and control interfaces in collaboration with content creators and software developers.

• Oversee specialty fabrication shop drawings and the production of field installations.

• Coordinate with AV integrators, client infrastructure, and project management teams to fulfill technical requirements.

• Participate in prototype evaluations and playtesting sessions.

• Supervise the commissioning and handover of spaces, software, content, and activations.

• Develop lifecycle maintenance strategies and service level agreements with AV, operations, and external design teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a Technical Producer, Technical Project Manager, Producer, or similar delivery role.

• Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycles and technical delivery methodologies.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication capabilities.

• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Knowledge of API usage, open-source/shared protocols, web applications, object-oriented development, software frameworks, User Interface Design, User Experience Optimization, network architecture, cloud data management systems, HTML, C++, and Java is a plus.

• Working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

• Familiarity with product, software, content, design, and construction project life cycles.

• Experience with project management tools for scheduling, risk tracking, and budgeting.

• Proven track record in managing design and delivery processes for physical installations and digital content.

• Direct experience with iterative design processes, rapid prototyping, and playtesting.

• Basic understanding of show control system design and methodology.

• Ability to read and interpret AV system drawings, engineering and architectural blueprints, software architecture diagrams, wiring schematics, schedules, test reports, and commissioning documents.

• Submission of a current resume/CV is required.
