Technical Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation, management, and continuous enhancement of our FP&A planning system (Pigment).

• Act as the main point of contact between the Finance, Data, and Engineering teams to guarantee the integrity, scalability, and usability of financial data and planning systems.

• Create and sustain data models, integrations, and reporting frameworks that facilitate budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and management reporting.

• Collaborate with other FP&A Managers to develop and uphold driver-based financial models that aid in budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and strategic decision-making.

• Design real-time reporting and performance dashboards to track business outcomes and assess variances against the plan.

• Manage consolidations and oversee the preparation of our Monthly Financial Packages along with other Quarterly and Annual Board Reports.

• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes, ensuring precision, consistency, and actionable insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, finance systems, or related areas.

• Practical experience in implementing, managing, or optimizing FP&A platforms such as Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Planful, or comparable tools.

• Strong background in FP&A, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, variance analysis, and management reporting.

• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling capabilities with remarkable attention to detail.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to influence both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

• Experience with SQL and data warehouse environments (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
