Technical Manager, Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the technical limitations of intricate renovation initiatives

• Examine existing building issues and the related risks

• Confirm the structural and technical viability of projects during the initial phase

• Establish construction solutions tailored to the unique challenges presented by each project

• Create or oversee key technical documents and specifications (CCTP)

• Develop and organize the company's technical standards

• Introduce tools, reference frameworks, and methodologies for the department

• Generate technical templates and reference metrics utilized by the teams

• Aid in the ongoing enhancement of design and execution procedures

• Guide and challenge external engineering/design consultancies

• Guarantee the quality and uniformity of technical deliverables

• Engage in the assessment and qualification of strategic partners

• Ensure the anticipated level of excellence in high-end projects

• Assist in the transition of project documentation to site/construction teams

• Secure project initiation for technically sensitive matters

• Provide expertise for technical arbitration or complex scenarios during execution

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree from a civil engineering (BTP) institution or an architectural qualification with a strong emphasis on project delivery/execution

• 6–10 years of experience in technical studies, technical coordination, or overseeing complex projects

• Required experience in heavy renovation, historic/heritage buildings, restructuring, or technically intricate projects

• Strong knowledge in structural, regulatory, and technical building issues

• Capability to challenge senior stakeholders and make significant technical decisions

• Enthusiasm for organizing work, developing methodologies, and enhancing organizational processes
