Technical Leader – Azure, Data, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical definition, architecture, review, and oversight of end-to-end solutions focused on data, analytics, and artificial intelligence.

• Ensure alignment between client requirements and iData standards.

• Serve as the primary consultative reference for the client and the internal team.

• Participate in strategic discussions, decision-making, architecture, and technical governance.

• Oversee code quality and guide best practices in CI/CD and infrastructure.

• Direct executive meetings, design and sustain architecture, align with stakeholders, and coordinate with client teams.

• Design architectures in Azure and integrate data platforms such as Databricks and Fabric, as well as AI patterns like RAG, Agents, and AI Foundry.

• Audit and supervise code developed by the team through code reviews.

• Design and implement secure connectivity using IaC with Private Endpoints, Hub-Spoke, and Private Link.

• Promote and implement CI/CD and automated infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep.

• Guide the assigned team, resolve blockages, track deliverables, and ensure technical excellence.

• Apply concepts of data governance, security, and secure development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional Degree: Systems Engineering, Computing, Electronics, Data, or related fields.

• Courses or knowledge in Data Architecture, Technological Leadership, Data Governance, or Cloud Strategy.

• Between 7 and 10 years of overall technology experience.

• Proven experience leading data/cloud architecture solutions and directly interacting with clients.

• Advanced proficiency in the Azure ecosystem.

• Conceptual knowledge of AWS/GCP to understand equivalences and engage in multi-cloud discussions.

• Understanding and implementation of Terraform for Hub-Spoke, Private Link, and Private Endpoints schemes for Storage, Databricks, and SQL.

• Strong expertise in Databricks or Microsoft Fabric, with a solid foundation in Apache Spark/PySpark.

• Understanding of Generative AI architectures: RAG, KAG, CAG, Azure AI Search, and Azure OpenAI / AI Foundry.

• Technical capability to audit, review PRs, and oversee code in Python, SQL, PySpark, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Next.js, and C#/.NET.

• General knowledge of OWASP, ISO, and SOX.

• Willingness to learn alternative data platforms based on project requirements.
