This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead Technical Projects: Oversee technical project activities to ensure effective execution from the design phase through to commissioning.
β’ Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary technical liaison between the customer and our project execution team.
β’ Project Management: Engage in project risk and opportunity assessments, manage project budgets in terms of man-days allocated for engineering tasks, and provide regular updates on progress.
β’ Collaboration: Work alongside the Project Manager to facilitate project planning, risk mitigation, and manage change requests.
β’ Design and Documentation: Assess customer specifications, create technical documentation for projects, validate technical solutions with customers, and guarantee compliance with project document control protocols.
β’ Technical Oversight: Define software and Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), manage technical execution planning, and ensure compliance with GE Vernova safety standards.
β’ Issue Resolution: Resolve technical discrepancies, manage fault reports, and provide support to site engineers either remotely or on-site.
β’ Testing and Commissioning: Lead Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests, and coordinate with commissioning teams for significant site milestones.
β’ Training and Support: Deliver project-specific training to customers, assist tendering and commercial teams, and ensure customer satisfaction through professional project delivery.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in Digital Protection & Control Systems or Energy Management Solutions design engineering.
β’ Relevant background in Electric Power Distribution Automation, Process Bus, Substation Digitization, Monitoring & Diagnostics, Asset Performance Management (APM), Device Management (DvM), or Cybersecurity Management.
β’ Skilled in designing and programming electrical control systems, including SCADA/HMI, cybersecurity, network equipment, IEC61850, Firewalls, and more.
β’ Proficient in English.
β’ Willingness to travel 30% within the U.S. and Canada.
