Lead Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and testing of large-scale enterprise software applications.

• Establish technical direction, architecture, and Azure-based solution design.

• Design and construct microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications.

• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, promoting collaboration and professional development.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and advocate for best practices.

• Work collaboratively across QA, product, and design teams.

• Design and develop secure applications across front-end, middle-tier, and database layers.

• Create and enhance integration methods (APIs, polling, webhooks).

• Monitor live systems, execute performance tuning, load testing, and resilience testing.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues.

• Champion CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of software development experience (or equivalent).

• Experience in the healthcare sector (dental preferred) is advantageous.

• Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and REST API development.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and contemporary frameworks (Angular preferred).

• Practical experience with Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, cloud-native solutions).

• Proficient in Microsoft SQL databases.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a bonus.

• Experience with containerization and cloud deployments (Docker, AKS, Kubernetes).

• Solid grasp of integration patterns (webhooks, polling, APIs).

• Knowledge of SOAP services is a plus.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Strong understanding of application security best practices, including JWT, encryption, and prevention of injection attacks.

• Experience with performance optimization, load testing, and resilience engineering.
