Senior Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack - Shopping

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee a diverse array of technology projects while managing a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to deliver solutions that address the company's regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrate your enthusiasm for keeping abreast of technological advancements, experimenting with and acquiring new skills, engaging in both internal and external tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally writing or reviewing code.

• Partner with digital product managers to provide robust cloud-based solutions that create impactful experiences, empowering millions of Americans towards financial independence.

• Apply programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS tools and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience is not counted).

• At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

• 9+ years of expertise in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (Preferred).

• 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (Preferred).

• 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks (Preferred).

• 1+ years of experience in people management (Preferred).

• 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (Preferred).

• Experience in utilizing interactive AI tools to enhance productivity, going beyond basic code completion (Preferred).
