Technical Lead – React, .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of solution architecture for designated React and .NET projects

• Contribute production code for complex or high-risk solution areas

• Conduct code reviews, uphold coding standards, and mentor engineers

• Make and document technical decisions and trade-offs

• Take ownership of performance, security, accessibility, scalability, and maintainability

• Manage technical debt and negotiate remediation into sprint plans

• Lead sprint planning, estimation, and backlog refinement

• Decompose requirements into stories and technical tasks with acceptance criteria and dependencies

• Monitor sprint burndown, identify slippage, and propose recovery strategies

• Facilitate stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

• Maintain delivery status for PMO reporting, including RAG status, milestones, risks, issues, and change requests

• Oversee release readiness, cutover planning, rollback provisions, and hypercare arrangements

• Lead and allocate tasks for a team of 4–8 engineers across development and QA

• Onboard, mentor, and develop engineers through pairing, walkthroughs, and constructive feedback

• Establish and monitor standards for branching, testing, documentation, and definition of done

• Conduct performance discussions and contribute to appraisals and development plans

• Support recruitment through technical screening and participation in interview panels

• Serve as the technical point of contact for US and international clients

• Conduct technical discussions and demonstrations, presenting recommended solutions

• Manage scope changes through change control processes

• Communicate proactively across time zones to build client trust

• Adhere to PMO governance, documentation, stage gates, sign-offs, time recording, and audit evidence

• Own the engagement test strategy across unit, integration, end-to-end, and UAT layers

• Maintain CI/CD discipline and contribute lessons learned and reusable assets

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five years of professional software delivery experience with React and the .NET stack

• At least two years in a technical lead, lead developer, or similar leadership role

• Proven track record of leading a delivery team to release on a scheduled timeline

• Hands-on experience working directly with international clients, preferably from the United States

• Experience delivering within Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban) throughout the entire lifecycle

• Strong expertise in React, including hooks, component composition, state management, and performance optimization

• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, utilizing modern tools and build pipelines

• Competent in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles

• Familiarity with front-end testing practices using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar tools

• Strong command of C# and .NET (including .NET 6 or later, and ASP.NET Core)

• Experience in RESTful API design and layered or clean architecture patterns

• Working knowledge of Entity Framework Core or similar ORM and SQL Server or equivalent relational database

• Practical experience with cloud services, preferably Azure, with AWS being acceptable

• Proficient in version control with Git and CI/CD pipeline configuration

• Understanding of application security fundamentals, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT

• Ability to lead by influence as well as by authority

• Disciplined in estimation, dependency management, and schedule control

• Clear written and spoken English skills sufficient for unscripted technical discussions with senior client stakeholders

• Willingness and availability to work United States hours consistently
