Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot Terraform infrastructure, Helm/Helmfile charts, and Azure DevOps pipelines.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD automation, encompassing testing, SonarQube, vulnerability scanning, and secure deployment practices.

• Provide support for automation and Kubernetes deployments related to the data lakehouse platform.

• Create and uphold Python-based automation tools for both infrastructure and application provisioning.

• Apply and manage security updates for OSS and product Docker images.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to align infrastructure with application needs.

• Diagnose complex issues across infrastructure, Kubernetes, pipelines, applications, and configurations.

• Maintain thorough documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

• Adhere to security, compliance, and cloud best practices within Azure environments.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies to enhance automation and delivery methods.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of practical DevOps experience, ideally within cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

• Extensive expertise in Terraform for Azure infrastructure, covering AKS, Azure SQL, Key Vault, networking, Application Gateway, Front Door, and multi-subscription settings.

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and Helmfile.

• Practical experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including multi-stage YAML pipelines, reusable templates, approvals, and automated build and deployment processes.

• Proficient in Python for infrastructure and platform automation, particularly with Azure and Kubernetes APIs.

• Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot and Node.js builds and containerization.

• Experience with or exposure to data lakehouse technologies, such as Airflow, Spark, Delta Lake, and Hive Metastore.

• Understanding of Solr/SolrCloud administration.

• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including AKS, networking, storage, databases, Key Vault, monitoring, and logging.

• Emphasis on automation, CI/CD, security, and rapid feedback loops.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions effectively.

• Capacity to work collaboratively with developers, QA, product, operations, and engineering teams.

• Independent problem-solving skills for ambiguous and complex challenges.

• Proactive ownership mindset with a willingness to quickly learn new technologies.

• A degree in any field.
