Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 4–8 engineers.

• Write code, review pull requests, and actively participate in technical decision-making.

• Ensure the team meets its commitments while maintaining high quality standards.

• Advocate for testing, observability, and engineering best practices.

• Manage the team—oversee sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and designers to convert requirements into actionable tasks.

• Represent the team in planning sessions, cross-team synchronization, and discussions with leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering.

• At least 1 year of experience managing or leading a team, whether formally or informally.

• Solid technical foundation.

• Familiarity with contemporary development practices: CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and observability.

• Proficient with our technology stack or similar: Java/Spring, Angular/React, PostgreSQL, AWS, DataDog.

• Utilizes AI tools (such as Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) for code reviews, design drafts, and debugging.

• Educates the team on effective AI usage and best practices.

• Experience conducting one-on-ones and providing direct, constructive feedback.

• Proven ability to mentor engineers and foster their growth.

• Embraces a servant leadership approach.

• Cultivates trust, psychological safety, and a culture of ownership.

• Excellent communicator with engineers, PMs, and leadership.

• Fluent in Spanish, with a working knowledge of English for cross-team collaboration.
