Technical Lead – App Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implements standard software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting.

• Develops secure, high-quality production code, while also reviewing and debugging code produced by others.

• Engages in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Collaborates efficiently within an Agile (Scrum or Kanban) team environment.

• Takes responsibility for the design and delivery of high-quality features that adhere to standards.

• Fosters a culture of diversity, equality, inclusion, and respect among team members.

• Mentors peers on coding standards and conducts code reviews.

• Provides system support, monitors performance, and identifies deficiencies.

• Participates in code and design reviews within Architecture and Engineering.

• Develops and implements automated test plans and strategies based on business requirements, collaborating with engineers, architects, and clients to validate test environments, test data, and test outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Java, including both core Java and advanced Java concepts and technologies.

• Proven software development experience.

• Practical experience with Kafka Connect and Kafka messaging event streams.

• Must possess experience in Java (Spring Boot).

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as Cassandra.

• Proficiency in MongoDB and a solid understanding of its appropriate use cases.

• Expertise in OpenShift Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of non-relational document databases.

• Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture.

• Expertise in profiling codebases.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• An engineering and consulting mindset to assist clients in achieving their transformation goals.

• Experience managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodology, estimation techniques, and key ceremonies for effective management and collaboration.

• Highly collaborative working style.

• Excellent communication skills, actively participating in discussions with business customers, architects, and team members.

• Knowledge of AWS.

• Experience with Microservices.
