This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Strategic account management: Oversee international medical device manufacturers and market authorization holders, fostering long-term relationships and continuously enhancing existing partnerships.
• Business growth: Secure new MedTech OEMs and market authorization holders as enduring development collaborators.
• Market expansion: Discover new projects within medical device manufacturing and unlock opportunities for high-precision components and assemblies.
• Negotiation skills: Expertly negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery models with global business partners.
• Project coordination: Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management to effectively transition development initiatives into series production.
• Project costing: Work alongside engineering and manufacturing to create technically and economically optimal solutions for custom precision components.
• Project oversight: Assist in managing complex customer projects from initial inquiry through prototypes and pre-series to successful series production.
• Escalation handling: Skillfully address challenges and complaints to maintain and secure long-term customer relationships.
• Educational background: A completed technical education from HTL, university studies, or equivalent serves as the professional foundation.
• MedTech background: Several years of experience in the medical technology sector, preferably in sales or product development for OEMs.
• Manufacturing knowledge: Familiarity with high-precision mechanical manufacturing, technical feasibility, and the standards required for regulated medical devices.
• Sales proficiency: Proven track record of expanding existing customer relationships and effectively acquiring new clients.
• Systems expertise: Proficient and routine use of ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Regulatory awareness: Understanding of quality standards in medical technology, ideally with experience related to ISO 13485, documentation, and traceability requirements.
• Communication abilities: Strong presence at decision-making levels and persuasive communication skills in an international context are essential strengths.
• Industry connections: An existing network with medical device manufacturers or market authorization holders is advantageous.
