Technical Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead teams of engineers that excel while being closely involved in technical execution.

• Deliver hands-on technical guidance, engage in architecture discussions, and conduct code reviews.

• Provide mentorship to developers, QA engineers, and DevOps professionals.

• Take ownership of project scope, timelines, quality, and delivery results.

• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients.

• Ensure the financial health and sustainability of projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of practical engineering experience (in software development or DevOps).

• At least 3 years in a leadership or management position within engineering.

• Extensive knowledge of modern architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and CI/CD methodologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), test automation, observability practices, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts (including SLOs, SLAs, and incident response).

• Proven experience collaborating directly with U.S.-based clients in delivery and technical leadership capacities.

• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and spoken (C1/C2 level).
