Technical Director – Water

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert advice across our network of facilities regarding the operation of water treatment plants, encompassing troubleshooting, process control and optimization, as well as regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate closely with facility-based operational teams, regulatory bodies, company leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with plant performance objectives and regulatory standards.

• Assist in the company’s QA programs to uphold the highest levels of service delivery and adherence to all pertinent regulations.

• Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at boosting the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and maintenance functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field is mandatory. Coursework in data science or statistical methods is advantageous.

• At least 10 years of experience in water treatment operations, treatment process troubleshooting, and/or regulatory positions.

• Comprehensive understanding of SDWA regulations and industry standards pertinent to water treatment facility performance.

• Proven experience in project or initiative management, encompassing planning, execution, budgeting or costing, and stakeholder engagement.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
