This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee strategic communications for the Global Customer Capabilities & Innovation division.
• Formulate and implement communication strategies to enhance awareness and uptake of global customer capabilities.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to convert business priorities into clear and engaging communications.
• Craft executive messaging, organizational updates, and communications for change management.
• Showcase success stories and best practices that illustrate business impact.
• Foster stakeholder engagement and alignment across initiatives aimed at capability building.
• Direct communications related to innovation, technology, data transformation, and new operational methods.
• Create narratives that connect innovation investments to customer and commercial results.
• Initiate campaigns that encourage experimentation, knowledge sharing, and solution adoption.
• Convey strategic priorities and milestones among business, analytics, technology, and capability teams.
• Assess communication effectiveness and refine engagement strategies accordingly.
• Align communications with the broader objectives of Global Markets & Policy.
• Develop integrated communication plans that are in harmony with enterprise and organizational goals.
• Enhance executive visibility, thought leadership, and engagement with key stakeholders.
• Ensure uniform messaging across regions and functions through global collaboration.
• Promote organizational achievements both internally and externally, as appropriate.
• Provide counsel to senior leaders on initiatives related to change and transformation.
• Influence and create alignment across complex, matrixed global teams.
• Cultivate collaboration among communications, business, technology, analytics, policy, and market teams.
• Oversee partnerships with external agencies/vendors and manage communication resources.
• A Bachelor’s degree along with 9 years of experience in strategic communications, corporate affairs, public affairs, change communications, or a related field; or a Master’s degree with 7 years; or a Doctorate with 4 years.
• Preferred: 10+ years of experience in strategic communications, corporate affairs, public affairs, change communications, or related fields.
• Experience in supporting global initiatives related to commercial, technology/innovation, or transformation communications.
• Strong skills in executive communications, leadership visibility, and storytelling.
• Proven success in leading complex, enterprise-wide communication programs for both internal and external audiences.
• Experience in driving communications that facilitate organizational change and capability adoption.
• Ability to thrive in a global, matrixed organization.
• Knowledge of a highly regulated industry, preferably pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or healthcare.
• Capacity to lead intricate projects from strategy through to execution with minimal supervision.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to align communication strategies with business priorities.
• Experience in developing strategic communication plans and simplifying complex topics into engaging narratives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and establish relationships across matrixed organizations.
• Familiarity with leveraging emerging technologies and innovative communication tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Proven record of ownership, accountability, and delivering high-quality results.
