This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Provide comprehensive leadership and oversight support to a global consortium engaged in complex and prolonged emergencies.
• Facilitate coordination and collaboration with leaders from various programming teams.
• Assist external engagement initiatives in collaboration with media, communications, and advocacy teams.
• Oversee projects and coordinate with specialists across other program teams.
• Manage strategic reserves to ensure rapid response to prioritized emergencies.
• Offer technical expertise, guidance, support, and oversight for field-facing programming within a substantial portfolio.
• Ensure the establishment of monitoring and evaluation systems, along with the development of reporting processes.
• Promote effective project management through communication with teams and stakeholders.
• Lead the project close-out process and ensure the proper documentation is disseminated.
• Bachelor's degree in international development, business administration, non-profit management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in roles such as Senior Program Manager, Senior Manager, Director, or similar positions for large publicly funded humanitarian programs.
• Proven experience managing sub-grants and contracts under grants for complex projects.
• Demonstrated experience in leading large and diverse teams.
• Strong knowledge of humanitarian coordination mechanisms and the UN cluster framework.
• Experience in leading programs with a value exceeding USD $20 million.
• Must possess fluency in English.
