Technical Delivery Manager – DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Define and implement the DevOps roadmap in alignment with both engineering and business objectives.

• Lead initiatives in cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment, and platform reliability.

• Advocate for contemporary DevOps methodologies, AI-enhanced engineering tools, and initiatives focused on continuous improvement.

• Mentor and develop a cohesive DevOps team through coaching and collaborative efforts.

• Promote accountability, ownership, and a culture of continuous learning.

• Support professional development through consistent coaching and technical guidance.

• Manage the DevOps backlog effectively, balancing immediate operational tasks with long-term platform enhancements.

• Identify and eliminate delivery obstacles to enable engineering teams to operate efficiently.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering leadership and stakeholders to drive high-impact projects.

• Ensure that production systems are secure, scalable, and consistently available.

• Oversee incident response and conduct thorough root cause analysis.

• Continuously enhance monitoring, deployment quality, and infrastructure resilience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related discipline.

• More than 2 years of experience in leadership roles such as Team Lead, Engineering Manager, or Technical Manager.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.

• Proven experience in constructing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).

• Proficient with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, monitoring, automation, and cloud-native operations.

• Experience in implementing Agile practices and fostering continuous improvement within engineering teams.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
