Technical Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with data producers to create high-quality metadata for assets within the Data Platform.

• Identify and document the classification types for tables and fields.

• Utilize the Atlan data cataloging tool to enhance and organize metadata.

• Record lineages, classifications, and privacy controls in accordance with company and governmental standards.

• Work alongside various teams to discover and document metadata information.

• Establish and document ownership of data assets and flows, partnering with Data Stewards to communicate this information to leadership and other teams in a clear and accessible format.

• Evaluate incoming data assets to ensure they comply with Data Platform standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Healthcare, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience in Data Analysis.

• At least 2 years of experience in Data Governance, specifically in metadata management.

• Proficient SQL skills.

• Familiarity or experience with data architecture.
