Senior Healthcare Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of data assets, processes, and models that will yield insights into the company's medical expense and risk adjustment performance.

• Work collaboratively with our skilled product, engineering, clinical, and operations teams, all of whom come from diverse backgrounds.

• Perform analytics and reporting by utilizing data from payer claims, CMS files, electronic medical records, and other sources to provide actionable insights to various teams.

• Partner directly with product and engineering teams to establish data requirements for payer data ingestion and data warehousing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in healthcare data analytics or healthcare economics.

• More than 4 years of experience with analytic and modeling tools and software (SAS, SQL, Python, R, etc.).

• Proven understanding of essential managed care concepts such as Risk Adjustment, Provider Capitation, Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGs), Ambulatory Patient Groups (APGs), etc.

• Capability to review new datasets for accuracy and engage with key stakeholders to contextualize data inconsistencies and their impact on reporting and measurement design.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with government healthcare programs, including Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid.

• Familiarity with value-based care.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Looker) is an advantage.
