Technical Consultant – Water Reclamation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with field sales and corporate account teams to assist with industry-specific or strategic technical sales opportunities.

• Partner closely with clients to comprehend their technology needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and provide training and support to ensure effective usage of implemented systems.

• Offer top-tier expertise, system optimization, and problem-solving in the most dynamic and challenging customer environments.

• Play a vital role in showcasing the total value delivered and promoting the worth of our solutions that integrate chemistry, automation, digital, equipment, and engineered solutions.

• Lead problem-solving initiatives by employing various root cause analysis techniques to address application or best practice issues at customer locations.

• Evaluate water treatment programs and suggest as well as quantify operational efficiency improvement projects through a documented report.

• Collaborate with R&D and Marketing on innovative projects, from ideation to launch, by fulfilling Phase Gate milestones such as refining value propositions, defining operational savings, creating technical documentation, and educating both internal and external stakeholders.

• Spearhead innovation pilot applications, technical trials, and market trials.

• Provide value to our customers by utilizing a problem-solving approach to achieve innovative results.

• Conduct training sessions for associates and customers, sharing your specialized knowledge to enhance skill development and proficiency.

• Mentor individuals within the organization on processes, applications, technologies, and value documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Strong technical expertise in water and pre-treatment solutions.

• Over 5 years of successful experience in technical implementation, production management, process engineering, technical sales, or field sales support.

• Must possess a valid Driver's License and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

• Proven technical proficiency and experience in Pre-Treatment, Cooling, and Reclaim applications.

• Demonstrated experience with complex chemistry, automation, digital, equipment, and engineered solutions both from Ecolab and across the industry.

• An inquisitive mindset that challenges the status quo and embraces disruptive technologies.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to consult, coach, and mentor both internal stakeholders and customers.
