This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of **CMDB architecture**, ensuring data accuracy, governance, and scalability.
• Take ownership of and manage **ServiceNow Discovery**, including its configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements.
• Design and execute **integrations utilizing REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Integration Hub**, guaranteeing seamless data transfer across systems.
• Define and uphold **CMDB data models, CIs, relationships, and reconciliation rules** in accordance with best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into **technical solutions centered on CMDB and integrations**.
• Conduct **CMDB health checks, audits, and data normalization** to maintain high data quality and compliance.
• Create and sustain **custom scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, APIs)** to facilitate CMDB and integration use cases.
• Diagnose and resolve issues concerning **Discovery, integrations, and CMDB data inconsistencies**.
• Engage in client discussions, delivering **technical expertise specifically regarding CMDB strategy and integration architecture**.
• Assist with ITSM and other modules (Service Portal, HAM, etc.) as secondary responsibilities when necessary.
• Operate in Agile environments, actively participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery cycles.
• Over 4 years of practical experience in **ServiceNow development and implementation**.
• Strong expertise in:
• - **CMDB (mandatory)**
• - **Discovery (mandatory)**
• - **Integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, APIs) (mandatory)**
• - Solid understanding of **CMDB data modeling, CI relationships, and governance frameworks**.
• - Experience with **Integration Hub, external system integrations, and API-based architecture**.
• - Familiarity with ITSM and other modules (secondary focus).
• - Proficient scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide APIs).
• - Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
• - ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS – Discovery/CMDB preferred).
