Technical Consultant – Pre-Treatment, Reclaim, Wastewater

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with field sales and corporate account teams to assist in industry-specific or strategic technical sales initiatives.

• Work closely with clients to comprehend their technology needs, suggest appropriate solutions, and offer training and support to ensure effective use of implemented systems.

• Provide top-tier expertise, system optimization, and problem-solving in the most dynamic and challenging customer environments.

• Play a vital role in showcasing the total value delivered and promoting the worth of our solutions, integrating chemistry, automation, digital technology, equipment, and engineered solutions.

• Lead problem-solving initiatives by employing various root cause analysis methodologies to address application or best practice issues at customer locations.

• Evaluate water treatment programs and recommend as well as quantify operational efficiency improvement projects in a documented report.

• Collaborate with R&D and Marketing on innovation projects, from ideation to launch, by completing Phase Gate milestones such as refining value propositions, defining operational savings, creating technical documentation, and educating both internal and external stakeholders.

• Oversee innovation pilot applications, technical trials, and market trials.

• Deliver value to our customers through a problem-solving approach to achieve innovative outcomes.

• Facilitate training for associates and customers, sharing your specialized knowledge to promote skill development and proficiency.

• Mentor individuals within the organization on processes, applications, technologies, and value documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven technical expertise and experience in Pre-Treatment, Reclaim, and Wastewater applications.

• Established experience in complex chemistry, automation, digital technology, equipment, and engineered solutions from Ecolab and the broader industry.

• An inquisitive mindset that challenges the status quo and embraces disruptive technologies.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of consulting, coaching, and mentoring both internal stakeholders and customers.

• Value-focused mindset aimed at delivering measurable savings and impact to our customers.

• Solution-oriented with a problem-solving attitude towards complex challenges.

• Willingness and ability to travel across Europe to customer sites.

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Strong technical understanding of water and wastewater treatment and solutions.

• Over 5 years of successful experience in technical implementation, production management, process engineering, technical sales, or field sales support.

• Must possess a valid Driver's License and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
